According to the breeder, who was also named Bubba, this strain was created in 1996 when OG Kush crossed with an unknown Indica strain from New Orleans. It’s believed that Northern Lights is the mother of the unknown strain, but this is not confirmed. More recently, Bubba Kush was crossed with a high CBD strain to reduce the THC levels, thus creating Bubba Kush CBD.

I love the strain! Effects start with low eyes to complete relaxation, all my worries seemed to be gone. Relaxed but not sleepy. I’ve tried multiple strains from cheef. This one is amazing. Beautiful buds and a very rich odor. Very dense nuggets. Advise you use a grinder to roll it due to it being nice and moist. I felt strong relaxation immediately. Pain gone from my neck. I only buy from cheef now. Always premium. No dry crumbly flowers, and no leaves. Very nicely manicured.
