CBG (cannabigerol) is one of the hundred or so cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Though it’s still sort of a newcomer to the market, it’s quickly gaining traction as a companion to CBD (cannabidiol). Read on to determine if this energizing compound’s wax may be a good option for you.
What Is CBG Wax
CBG wax is a concentrated form of cannabigerol (CBG) that you can smoke or vaporize for instantaneous effects. To make our wax, we extract the CBG via a clean CO2 process, infuse it with CBD and terpenes, and sell it straight to you. The minimal processing ensures you receive a pure product!
CBG is a minor cannabinoid (most hemp and cannabis strains contain 1% or less) that promotes relaxation and natural wellness. The wax form is highly concentrated; you only need a small amount to feel its pleasant effects.
Benefits of CBG Wax
The potency of CBG wax makes it cost and time-efficient. When smoked, cannabigerol has a high bioavailability (meaning more of it can reach the bloodstream). Using only a tiny dab, you should feel effects within 90 seconds of inhaling.
Some of the benefits may include:
- Higher energy
- Balanced appetite
- Reduction of intraocular eye pressure
- Diminished discomfort
- Reduction of worried/nervous thinking
- And many more!
Benefits of Our CBG Wax
Our CBG wax also contains CBD (cannabidiol) and terpenes to incite a reaction called the “entourage effect.” This response occurs when two or more cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are consumed together, boosting the power of each compound. This teamwork results in an enhanced consumer experience.
With that in mind, our team created wax that’s 50% CBG and 50% CBD – hence the 1:1 ratio. Then, we added terpenes to elevate the natural aroma, flavor, and effects. Using our product means you won’t need to combine two different cannabinoid waxes to achieve the entourage effect.
Our CBG wax contains no THC.
CBG Wax vs CBG Isolate
CBG isolate is the purest form of cannabigerol. It goes through a process to remove any other cannabinoids, making it the best way to experience the true effects of CBG. You can even use CBG isolate to make your own soothing skin salve!
Another quality that makes isolate a good purchase is its versatility. You can smoke it, vaporize it, and even eat it! Since it is an isolated version of CBG, it does not provide the entourage effect. However, because it contains no other cannabinoids, isolate is a popular option for those who want to avoid THC altogether.
CBG wax cannot be eaten, but vaping or smoking it (our wax, at least) will induce the entourage effect!
How To Use CBG Wax
CBG wax is easy to use. You can “dab” it through your own rig setup (check out these dab tools: this pack of two is under $6 on Amazon) or place it on top of some hemp flower and smoke it.
Be very careful with the dosing when using wax since it’s so concentrated. If using wax for the first time, we recommend starting with an amount roughly the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen.
Is CBG Wax Legal?
Yes! Thanks to a 2018 review of the Farm Bill, hemp’s growth and sale were legalized in the United States. Cannabigerol is one of the many extracts from hemp, so it’s perfectly legal to use in any state as long as it meets the federal regulation of containing 0.3% or less THC.
CBG has not yet been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Research shows that cannabigerol may have a range of beneficial properties. Thus far, CBG is well-tolerated but consult with a physician if you have any concerns about whether CBG is right for you.
Wax induces one of the strongest reactions of any form of CBG. This potent compound is the perfect addition to any type of hemp flower; it’s even fantastic on its own. If you have any other questions about CBG wax, please feel free to contact us!
At Cheef Botanicals, we are continually striving to deliver top-shelf, 100% organic products that provide beneficial effects for our customers. After our hemp and extracts travel from either Oregon or Colorado, it’s third-party tested before we package it on-site at our facility in Southern California.
